The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it's alarmed in regards to the large range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to read more reach-out sassa to the higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The company stage developed for intervention activities a significant inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to permit the servicing of all buyers and enhance entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
